Cookies and analytics software

Cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small blocks of data created by a web server that are placed on the user’s computer or other device. Cookies help the site to run as intended. The data contained in cookies can also be used to improve the user interface and the user experience, and to track the number of visitors for statistical purposes. The cookies used on the site are listed below.

What cookies are used on the site?

The cookies used on the site include strictly necessary cookies, preference cookies and analytics cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies enable the website to function properly. Strictly necessary cookies are of a technical nature, and they do not collect or store any personally identifiable information about users. Users can disable cookies in their browser settings. However, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the site and prevent the use of certain features.

Preference cookies enable the site to remember information that changes the way the site behaves or looks according to the user’s preferences. This can mean, for example, storing information about the user’s preferred currency, region, language or color scheme. The site prompts users to enable preference cookies when they first visit the site, and these cookies can be rejected.

The site also uses analytics cookies, which help to improve the user interface and the user experience, and to track the number of visitors for statistical purposes. Analytics cookies are also used on an opt-in basis, i.e. they need to be enabled by users themselves.

Cookie preferences can be changed at any time under Cookie settings.

It monitors activity and tracks users’ behavior on the site (such as the most popular content, the most often used devices and session lengths). The data are used for statistical purposes and to improve the site. The data that the application collects, such as users’ IP addresses, are anonymized and cannot be linked to a specific user or IP address.
