Who is responsible for Mentalhub.fi?
Mentalhub.fi is part of Finland’s public healthcare.
- HUS Psychiatry is responsible for developing and maintaining the service.
- All wellbeing services counties participate in maintenance, continuous development, and communication.
- Materials have been produced in collaboration with several organizations.
- Experts by experience and members of the customer panel are involved in evaluating and developing content.
Projects behind Mentalhub.fi
- Mentalhub.fi was launched in 2009.
- The service was developed in the SADE project (2013–2015) and in the Therapies to the Frontline (Terapiat etulinjaan) project (2021–2023).
- In 2024–2025, development continues through projects implementing the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health’s Mental Health at Work Program (part of Finland’s Sustainable Growth Program), funded by the EU’s temporary recovery instrument (Next Generation EU).

Goal of Mentalhub.fi
The goal of Mentalhub.fi is to promote mental health and well-being by providing accessible, reliable, and effective support for everyone in Finland.
The content aims to strengthen mental health skills for everyday life, offer self-help tools without barriers, reduce stigma, and encourage seeking support and treatment.
