MentalHub.fi is a collection of mental health resources, including symptom scales and self-help programs that anyone can access. Internet-delivered therapies (available only in Finnish and swedish) and the part designed for professionals require login.
- The site is maintained by HUS Psychiatry.
- Other hospital districts and the third sector have contributed to the design and content of the site.
- Experts by experience and a focus group of users have also given feedback on the content.
- MentalHub.fi was launched in 2009. Various improvements have been made to the site in the course of a national digitalization program called SADe between 2013 and 2015 and the First-Line Therapies initiative between 2021 and 2023.
The approaches described on MentalHub.fi mostly represent the perspective of the psychiatric specialist medical care services of the Helsinki University Hospital (HUS). However, an attempt has been made to cater to the needs of the entire care pathway.
MentalHub.fi provides reliable information produced and reviewed by experts in psychiatry. From the perspective of the individual, the information is for guidance only and should not be taken as a substitute for professional advice or a diagnosis based on a clinical assessment of the patient’s circumstances.
HUS is under no obligation to follow the principles referred to on the site in the treatment of individual patients.
HUS is not medically responsible for users of MentalHub.fi. Responsibility for the patient always lies with the care provider.
The site incorporates links to verified and relevant external sources and other web content. However, MentalHub.fi cannot fully guarantee the reliability of information on other sites, and care providers are not obligated to observe any principles referred to on these sites.
